Frequently asked questions.

Is everything gluten-free?

Yes! Every product and ingredient we use is gluten-free. From our flours to our chocolate to our beverages you can feel safe knowing that nothing is contaminated with gluten, malt, barley, rye or wheat.

Is everything vegan?

No. While many of our baked goods and most of our bread products are vegan, not everything is. But whether you have a dairy or an egg allergy or are fully vegan, you will find plenty of delicious and safe items to enjoy!

What about nuts/peanuts?

We do use many nut products here but are very careful in our sanitizing procedures and take care to handle nut containing items separately including boxes, knives, and serving utensils. We do not use peanuts here. However, all that being said, if you are someone with an anaphylactic allergy we suggest you talk to one of the owners before purchasing anything to ensure your safety.

Do you offer anything sugar-free and low-carb?

Yes we do. Every day in our bakery case we have one flavor of muffin, one flavor of cupcake and at least one specialty baked good. All of these items are good for diabetics and those following a keto diet (depending on your specific restrictions of course). We also offer a keto English muffin as a substitute on our breakfast sandwiches and keto everything bagels in our freezer. Macros are available upon request.

Is everything made in-house?

Every baked good, every bag of granola, every bread product (except the frozen wraps) are made right here in our kitchen. Our staff bakes all day and into the early morning hours to ensure that you always have fresh items whatever time of the day you visit us. Our frozen wraps are made locally by EHSTO.

Where can I find your daily menu?

We post our menu every morning on our Facebook and Instagram pages. You can also call the bakery to ask what our daily flavors/specials are.

How should I store/handle my bread and baked goods?

Because our bread products do not contain preservatives, it is best that you freeze them for long term storage. The slices come right apart and can go directly from freezer to toaster. English muffins, rolls, and pizza crust will stay fresh if refrigerated for at least a week. Sliced bread can remain on the counter for a couple of days but should be frozen after that. Almost all of our baked good products freeze well with no substantial change in taste or appearance. So feel free to stock up when you visit us!

Do you take special orders?

Yes! Almost anything you see on our daily menus can be ordered when you need it. Many of these items will require a minimum amount though so it’s always best to call and ask if you need something specific. General lead time for any special order is 48 hours, but the more heads up the better. These type of special orders will not be taken in the days leading up to Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. We also make platters of baked goods. You can find out the kinds of things we offer by checking out our Catering Menu page.

How many cinnamon rolls can I order if I walk-in to the shop?

The maximum number of cinnamon rolls you can order when walking in is 6. If you would like to order more than that on any one day feel free to call the bakery no later than 9am the day before to place your order. With a pre-order you can get as many as you’d like. Vegan cinnamon rolls are available for walk-in only on Thursdays but you can order them in quantities of 6 on any other day we are open. Again, with the same call ahead pre-ordering.
